While PSG.LGD would continue playing in the DPC season, they will do so without their legendary coach. Pending the results of these investigations, the organization has decided to put the coach on a preventive suspension. PSG.LGD has since asked Valve’s help in the investigation, requesting for for audio tapes from the Grand Finals and providing those to a private investigation firm in China. The goal of the game is for one team to destroy the center base of the opposing team which is called the Ancient. The name of the two teams are The Sentinel and The Scourge. It is a game consisting of three lanes where two teams of five players each are against each other. The organization cites the reputational damage that the allegations towards xiao8 have made on the organization’s image as the reason as to why they are investigating him in spite of Valve’s findings. Defense of the Ancients was first released in 2003. The series began in 2003 with the release of Defense of the Ancients (DotA), a fan-developed multiplayer. However, PSG.LGD would still open its own independent investigation on the matter. Dota is a series of strategy video games by Valve. PSG.LGD’s retained spot on the DPC league may be enough proof of Valve’s confidence in the organization’s innocence.

In fact, Valve maintains that the TI10 Grand Finals was held with integrity. Valve may not have found any wrong-doing from the side of xiao8 and the rest of the PSG.LGD roster.
